ERICA: Study design
- ERICA is the third major Phase III trial of ranolazine SR. It was conducted at 48 sites in 6 countries.
- Patients with angina ≥3 times weekly despite amlodipine 10 mg daily were randomized to placebo or ranolazine SR (initially 500 mg bid for 1 week, then 1000 mg bid for the remaining 6 weeks of the study).
- Results were presented at the 2005 AHA scientific sessions and are summarized on the next slide.
