CARISA: Ranolazine reduces angina frequency
- Both doses of ranolazine SR significantly reduced the frequency of angina attacks.
- Patients taking 1000 mg bid of ranolazine SR experienced at least 1 less angina attack per week vs placebo (P < 0.001).
- Benefit was additive to background therapy with traditional antianginals.
