MARISA: Study design
- During the 2-week, single-blind placebo qualifying phase, patients underwent a baseline exercise treadmill test (ET).
- Patients were then randomized to receive ranolazine SR 500 mg bid, 1000 mg bid, 1500 mg bid, or placebo. The 4-week active treatment period included 4 crossover periods each lasting 1 week. During this time, patients underwent weekly exercise testing at both at trough and peak.
