Mission Statement To improve the cardiovascular health of patients by providing a forum for the review, exchange, and assimilation of findings from vascular biology research for dissemination to the clinical medicine community.
|
Background VBWG was conceived in 1994 to unify the broad spectrum of vascular science that is driving the advances related to prevention and management of coronary artery disease. The VBWG serves as a forum for the periodic review, exchange, and assimilation of findings from vascular biology research for dissemination to the clinical medicine community. A key function of the Vascular Biology Working Group is to facilitate a consensus on what implications recent research findings have for present and future practices in patient care.
